It is always a fun time at the Q corporate offices! Model Liz came into the studio early in the morning super excited because it was photo shoot day. Her super bubbly and fun personality makes photo shoots a party for the entire crew. She told us she wanted to wear something “fun and fearless” and I thought the bright sequin dress was perfect. As the style blogger of the team, I knew exactly what would look great on her and what was suitable for today's warm LA weather. 

This is what I came up with as the stylist/style blogger of the team! She is wearing this super cute and versatile sequin dress for the day. It fits her perfectly and is great for a night out or a day in the city. I paired this form fitting dress with some white platform wedges.

happy tuesday!

Hey hey! Happy Tuesday!
It's just one of those feel good days when you wake up in the morning feeling grateful for everything. Today I am grateful for my job. I love working for the fashion business and being able to express my passion for fashion, photography, and the normal adventures in my hometown LA! I love Q and I am beyond excited for the future of this blog and the company!

 I am currently on a 14 hour train ride from Sacramento back to LA. Gonna use this day to unwind with the view of the gorgeous golden coast in sight! I flew into San Francisco over the weekend for a few events..and made my last stop doing some business out at the new Q in Roseville! It was a beautiful location and I absolutely love seeing our store expand!! More pictures on my Q adventure up here later this week.

As you might have seen when you visited our site, it is still under construction. This blog is still under design construction as well but is clearly still up and running! It's late September, and officially Fall! But living in Los Angeles, I'm still feeling that summer heat! The Fall feeling needs to come sooner because it's definitely my favorite fashion season! For countless reasons! But today I felt like sharing an important element to fall fashion: simple & cute hair-dos. 

 Fall is the time for boots, comfy sweaters and your favorite fitting jeans. Adding a cute hairstyle to the mix can definitely add a girlier and put together look to any fall outfit.

Below are some simple hairstyles that work out perfectly for your fall attire!

The Hair Bow 

The hair bow is a cute fashion statement that will make any outfit look adorable! The half up and half down hairstyle with a bow is perfect any occasion especially for date or going to school. It is simple, girly and takes under five minutes. If you want to switch up the classic bow look, try placing your bow on top of a well-done bun to create a more classy and formal look. This is bow tip is great for going to a work interview or to a family party.

BRAIDS BRAIDS BRAIDS! I was listening to KIIS FM the other day, and Ryan Seacrest mentioned that guys love it when girls work their braids! Here are my two personal favorite braided hairstyles. 

The Braided Headband

If you have a little bit more time on your hands, this hairstyle is perfect. Instead of simply pushing all your hair back with loose beach waves, try adding a braided headband. The braided headband adds style and is super fun.

QT Mariel here. Last Friday we at Q had a Pretty Little Liars inspired photoshoot! From the trendy casual to the GLAM to the dark Gothic/Victorian wear....we QTs got those looks on point! Unfortunately we won't release those photos for another week!

As Q's photographer, I took part in the PLL photoshoot and photographed in style! Big thanks to Q model, Liz, for encouraging me to "stop being so boring" and doll up with the rest of the girls! So I dressed myself up in Q's skull fashion choices that was fitting to the theme! 

Skull fashion has been making an edgy comeback in 2013, so what better than to rock the look now that it's the beginning of Fall/almost October? 

I don't usually model, but when I do, I rock that size Large ;)
